Call for Paper: Technology Use in Physics Education
Lontar Physics Today invites researchers, educators, and practitioners to submit original manuscripts for a Special Issue on Technology Use in Physics Education. This Special Issue aims to publish high-quality studies and evidence-based innovations on how technology supports physics teaching, learning, assessment, laboratory work, and teacher professional development across educational levels.
Technology integration in physics education has expanded rapidly—from simulations and virtual/remote laboratories to data acquisition tools, learning platforms, and immersive media. Beyond adoption, current conversations emphasize how technologies are implemented (design, scaffolding, accessibility, teacher readiness) and what evidence demonstrates meaningful learning outcomes (conceptual understanding, problem solving, inquiry skills, assessment quality, and laboratory competence). This Special Issue welcomes work that reports clear educational contributions, transparent methods, and practical implications for scalable, equitable, and responsible technology use in physics education.

All submissions to this Special Issue will undergo the journal’s standard peer-review process, identical to regular issues. Submission does not guarantee acceptance. Manuscripts will be published only after successfully passing the review and revision stages.
