KEPEMIMPINAN TRANSFORMASIONAL KEPALA SEKOLAH: KUNCI MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI DAN PROFESIONALISME GURU DALAM IMPLEMENTASI KURIKULUM MERDEKA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi secara mendalam peran kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan profesionalisme guru di era implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka. Di tengah dinamika perubahan kurikulum yang menuntut adaptasi dan inovasi, peran kepemimpinan yang efektif menjadi krusial. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus di SDN Orobulu Rembang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan kepala sekolah dan guru, observasi, serta studi dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan secara tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pola dan hubungan antara gaya kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah dengan peningkatan motivasi dan profesionalisme guru. Temuan awal menunjukkan bahwa dimensi-dimensi kepemimpinan transformasional, seperti memberdayakan visi, memberikan inspirasi, merangsang intelektual, dan memberikan perhatian individual, secara signifikan berkontribusi pada peningkatan semangat kerja, inisiatif, dan pengembangan kompetensi guru dalam mengadopsi prinsip-prinsip Kurikulum Merdeka. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan praktis bagi manajemen pendidikan mengenai strategi kepemimpinan yang efektif untuk mendukung adaptasi guru terhadap perubahan kurikulum, serta menegaskan pentingnya kepemimpinan transformasional sebagai kunci keberhasilan implementasi kurikulum baru.
