Manuscript Types

Jurnal Pengabdian Olahraga Masyarakat (JPOM) publishes community service articles (articles reporting the results of community engagement / pengabdian kepada masyarakat programs) within the journal's Focus and Scope: sports science, physical sciences, public health science, and recreation and game science.

Community Service Article

An original article that reports a community service program that has been carried out, including:

• Introduction – the situation and problems faced by the partner community, and the objectives of the program;
• Method – the partners/participants, location, time, stages of implementation, and how the results were evaluated;
• Results and Discussion – the outcomes of the program, supported by evaluation data and documentation, and discussed against relevant literature;
• Conclusion – the main achievements and recommendations for follow-up;
• Acknowledgements and References.

The manuscript must be original, must not have been published previously, and must not be under consideration by another journal. Other types of manuscripts (such as research articles, review articles, or opinion pieces) are not accepted.
