Abstract

This study explores the role of social-personal guidance and counseling service in supporting the ressilience of fatherless student in West Kalimantan. The study employed a descriptive approach using complementary quantitative and qualitative data. The participants consisted of 75 fatherlesss students from three public senior high schools in Pontianak City. Data were collected through resilience qustionnaire, interviews with school counselors, and documentation of counseling programs. The findings indicate that most fatherless students demonstrated a moderate level of resilience. Sosial-personal counseling, services, particularly individual and group counseling, contributed to students emotional regulation, optimism, and social support. Differences in resilience levels across schools suggest that school context and quality of counseling services influence students adaptive capacities. The findings emphasize the importance of strengthening social-personal counseling servoces to enhance students ressilience.
