This study examines the representation of normalized violence in the lyrics of the song "Peradaban" by .Feast through the perspective of power and discourse by Michel Foucault. Songs as a product of popular culture are seen as not only serving as entertainment but also as a medium for social criticism that reflects power relations in society. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach through literature study with reading and note-taking techniques on the lyric text as the main data source. The results show that the song's lyrics contain representations of physical and symbolic violence that appear through depictions of the burning of religious symbols, the insulting of collective identity, acts of deprivation, practices of social judgment, and experiences of repeated oppression. The repetition of these events demonstrates a tendency for social acceptance of violent practices until they are gradually perceived as part of the reality of life. The analysis also found that language and symbols in the lyrics function as a medium for producing discourse that shapes how society interprets power and social conflict. In addition to presenting a critique of domination, several parts of the lyrics show the emergence of critical awareness through the rejection of linguistic control and the affirmation of collective independence. The findings of this study indicate that the allegory of civilization in the song not only depicts human progress but also reveals social contradictions that display the continuation of violent practices in modern society.
