Konstruksi Identitas Gender dan Femininitas pada Atlet Tarung Perempuan: Narrative Literature Review

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menyajikan hasil analisis dan sintesis terhadap penelitian yang membahas mengenai performativitas gender, tubuh dan negosiasi femininitas pada atlet tarung perempuan. Metode yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah narrative literature review. Metode ini digunakan untuk menganalisis secara kualitatif hasil-hasil penelitian yang terkait dengan tema yang dikaji. Delapan artikel terpilih untuk dianalisis setelah melalui proses identifikasi, penyaringan dan seleksi sesuai dengan tema yang ditentukan, kemudian dianalisis berdasar pada hubungan, kesamaan dan perbedaan hasil serta implikasinya. Berdasar pada analisis yang telah dilakukan didapatkan hasil bahwa olahraga tarung yang diikuti oleh para petarung perempuan merupakan arena kultural yang mempengaruhi produksi dan negosiasi gender secara nyata. Konstruksi gender yang bersifat esensialis ditantang melalui ruang performativitas yang tampilkan oleh tubuh atlet tarung perempuan. Demikian pula halnya dengan femininitas yang ditampilkan melalui representasi media, praktik tubuh dan relasi sosial dinegosiasikan secara strategis. Sehingga berdasar pada hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penelitian narrative literature review mengenai gender dan femininitas akan berkontribusi secara teoritis dalam pengembangan penelitian pada dunia olahraga dan secara khusus pada olahraga tarung di Indonesia.
