Abstract

This community service activity aims to empower the local community of Rejosari Village by providing training on the production of corn ice, a value-added product derived from corn. The primary objective is to enhance participants' understanding and skills in processing corn, thereby improving their economic conditions. The methodology employed includes a series of structured training sessions that encompass theoretical knowledge and practical demonstrations. Initially, a needs assessment was conducted to identify the participants' existing knowledge and skills. Following this, a comprehensive training program was implemented, focusing on the techniques of corn ice production, marketing strategies, and business management.

The results of the training indicate a significant improvement in participants' knowledge and skills. Pre-training assessments revealed that only 30% of participants had a basic understanding of corn processing. However, post-training evaluations showed that this figure increased to 90%, demonstrating the effectiveness of the training program. Participants expressed increased confidence in their ability to produce and market corn ice, which is expected to contribute positively to their household incomes. Overall, this initiative not only enhances local economic development but also fosters innovation within the community.
